Lake City Retro Bowling Shirt Night

On our Retro Bowling Shirt night….see pics.  League members donned their best vintage bowling shirts from years past as they took the lanes Wednesday night at Bowl-A-Vard.  Some of the best shirts were Secretary-Treasurer Terry Teasdale with a 70’s Silver Dollar Tavern on W. Main bright orange shirt….that gave Cosgrove Construction’s fluorescent lime green shirts that they wear today a run for their money.  Greg Hafenstein wore his grandfather Ed’s shirt from the Tip Top Bar from Waterloo.  Ricky Thaden wore his uncle Stan Thaden’s Reserve Beer shirt  Stan had the record for the MBA for high series for many years and moved to Chicago to bowl for a brewery sponsored team.  It was great to see so many vintage shirts and we’ll do this again.

Dakota Wiltrout of Kingpins had the front 9 in the 1st game for a 279.
