Each year the Madison Area USBC awards five scholarships to graduating seniors in Madison Area youth bowling programs.

How Winners Are Chosen

The Scholarship Committee looks at each applicant’s academics, activities outside school, years in bowling, tournament play, and essay.

How the Money Is Paid

Scholarships go into the student’s SMART account. SMART pays the school directly for tuition and fees, campus meal and housing plans, textbooks, and required supplies and equipment.

Who Can Apply

  • Graduating SeniorsOpen to students finishing high school this season.
  • Youth MembersA certified member in good standing of a youth program at a Madison Area member center.
  • Further EducationPlanning to attend an accredited college, university, technical school, business school, or trade school.

What to Send

Application Checklist

  • Application, filled out in full by the student
  • Two letters of reference, one from a teacher or school official
  • High school transcript

Send everything to the Madison Area USBC office by February 1. Applications missing anything at the deadline are not accepted.
