For half a century, Dennis Breunig has been the cornerstone of bowling in Sauk Prairie

As a dedicated multi-decade league secretary for multiple leagues at Riviera Bowl in Sauk City, he has provided a crucial administrative foundation that allows the sport to flourish. His organizational skills and meticulous record keeping has ensured smooth league experiences for countless bowlers, many of whom have known only Dennis as their secretary in their bowling career.

His tenure in youth programs includes both coaching as well as ongoing fundraising efforts for the youth leagues and local high school teams, and demonstrates his commitment to nurturing new generations of bowlers.

He’s captained and organized teams for numerous championship tournaments, both local and state-wide. Beyond the lanes, his weekly “Bowlin’ at the Riv” blog keeps the community connected.

From the days of handwritten league standings to the management of modern digital systems, from youth to adult bowlers and everything in between – Dennis Breunig has committed unparalleled service and passion to our sport and has become an indispensable figure at Riviera Bowl and in the Madison Area USBC.
