For over 25 years, Steve has served as a Bronze level USBC coach, utilizing his expertise to nurture and shape the talents of countless young bowlers. His commitment to coaching has been instrumental in cultivating new generations of bowlers.

Steve selflessly volunteered his time and energy to support and mentor youth bowlers, leaving an indelible impact on the vaunted Sun Prairie bowling program. His guidance and leadership extended to coaching teams in High School District 4 competition, inspiring his players to reach new heights.

Throughout his tenure as a high school bowling coach, Steve’s exceptional coaching prowess shone brightly. In 2013, he was honored as the District 4 Junior Varsity Coach of the Year, and his achievements as a five-time Varsity Coach of the Year speak volumes. He led multiple teams to district championships.

For those fortunate enough to have been touched by Steve’s mentorship and guidance, the seeds of success were sown, and greatness blossomed.

Since 1988, Lynn Snodie has been a steadfast advocate for youth bowlers, dedicating her time and expertise as a certified Bronze level coach. Her love for the sport and genuine enthusiasm shine through in her tireless efforts to mentor and guide young bowlers at Lake Ripley Lanes in Cambridge and in Lake Mills.

Lynn’s impact extends beyond coaching. Her dedication and leadership are evident in her roles as an officer for multiple leagues and as a delegate for local and state association meetings. She is a driving force in recruiting and organizing teams for city and state tournaments, ensuring the continued growth and success of the sport.

Lynn’s commitment is exemplified by her attendance at numerous coaching seminars and clinics. Through her selfless efforts, she has imparted her knowledge and wisdom to both youth and adult bowlers, helping them improve their bowling skills and develop their mental game.

Lynn Snodie has consistently proven herself to be a pillar of reliability and support. She has always been “the one you can count on,” and she embodies the very foundation of bowling and exemplifies the essence of Meritorious Service.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dan Swenson has proven himself to be a formidable competitor, consistently achieving top-tier performances. With multiple top 100 finishes at the renowned Petersen Classic, he has showcased his exceptional skills on the most challenging stage of the sport. His local association and center scoring records stand as a testament to his talent.

Dan’s mastery of the lanes is evident in his impressive record of 28 perfect games and 13 800 series. Among these remarkable achievements, he held a 12-year association high score record of 878, set at Viking Lanes, and the house record of 847 at Badger Bowl.

Dan’s tournament resume boasts six titles, including a Madison Area USBC Open Team title and five Madison Area Scratch Tour wins. His success extends to the Wisconsin State Tournament, where he has secured nine top-ten finishes and four top-five placements.

Dan Swenson’s prowess on the lanes and his consistent ability to be a factor, regardless of difficulty or event, are the hallmarks of a true champion.

With an impressive tenure spanning 40 years in the Madison area, Gregg Williams has proven himself to be a tenacious and deliberate competitor on the lanes.

Gregg’s remarkable talent is exemplified by his impressive record of 65 perfect games and 42 800 series. These extraordinary achievements showcase his exceptional skill, precision, and ability to rise to the occasion.

Gregg’s mastery of the sport is evidenced by his three-time win of the Madison Bowling Association High Composite Average award – in three different decades. His consistency and high-level performance earned him the title in 1995-96 (224), 2003-04 (231), and 2012-13 (235).

His career includes 10 titles spanning over 20 years, including three in association Open and Senior Open competition and six Madison Area Scratch Tour victories. His ability to consistently perform at the highest level makes him a formidable force in any competition.

In the 2010-11 season, Gregg’s outstanding performance earned him the prestigious Jim Grady Memorial Bowling of the Year award, a testament to his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.

Justin is a true leader within the bowling and non-bowling environments. His dedication to building his high school bowling team this season was amazing. With his efforts at Belleville community festivities he promoted bowling and was able to get 7 new high school bowlers to join the Varsity and JV teams. Justin also strongly promotes his youth bowling program at Sugar River Lanes.

He is a high honor roll student and has served as an officer in both his FFA and 4H Programs. Justin’s volunteer hours are many with many different organizations. He has served food at his local food pantry, helped mentor younger bowlers in his youth bowling program, and works with students that need help at school.

Justin has learned many things by volunteering in his community and finds volunteering very rewarding. In 2021 and 2022, he received United Nations Merit Award for Volunteerism which is an award given to a student who has completed an extensive amount of volunteer hours with many different organizations.

Tayler is a true leader and great role model for her high school bowling team and the Prairie Lanes youth bowling program. She has given many hours to helping younger bowlers expand their bowling skills and help her bowling team members, who are from four different schools, learn to be a cohesive team.

Tayler is a high honor student and has been involved with DECA and Student Council at her high school. Tayler has volunteered with many organizations serving food as fundraising opportunities for her bowling team.  She has also volunteered to help with the State Youth and Open bowling tournaments that the Madison Association has recently hosted.

Tayler has become more confident in herself and a strong leader with all the activities she has been a part of.  Her work ethic is very strong and became that way as she learned what was needed to accomplish her goals.
