City Tournament Entry Form
(eight pages total – the actual “entry form” is page two … if you promise to read the rest).

New This Year

This year, your 2011-12 COMPOSITE AVERAGE will be used as your entering average, entered and verified by the tournament director. Entering averages will appear on the tournament confirmation received by your team captain.

A composite average is the “average of your averages”. determined by dividing the total pinfall from all leagues by the total number of games you bowled. The average includes data from leagues with less than 21 games and data from leagues bowled in other associations.

You can find YOUR composite average on Bowl.com by using the “Find a Member” feature on their home page.

Note: For the purposes of this tournament, composite average is calculated using all USBC Red (house pattern) and USBC White leagues. Averages earned in leagues on other conditions will be excluded from the composite calculation. The MBA will make the determination of what league averages will be considered. If you do not have a qualifying average, you will bowl scratch or be subject to an assigned average per USBC Rule 319b.

Ebonite
Ebonite – Bowl to Win

Ebonite: New Major Sponsor

The MBA welcomes Ebonite as a Major Sponsor of the City Tournament.  Ebonite will provide the bowling balls for the regular raffle, Captain’s Only raffle, and squad organizer bonus.  This year the ball will be either a Pursuit or a Challenge, once decided.  As always, winners will secure their new ball through Rob Bailey’s Pro Shop & Lanes.  This deal is expected to generate at least an additional $500.00 for our prize fund.

Brackets!

All shifts with 40 or more bowlers will offer brackets to the entrants.  There will be $5.00 scratch brackets and $2.00 handicapped brackets.  Proceeds from the brackets will go to the Jim Grady Fund, which helps support the MBA Hall of Fame.
