Senior Open Weekend 2

The second Madison Area USBC Senior Open is recorded. 29 teams and 49 sets of minors competed this past weekend.

Current Standings

We have now surpassed last years entries! Officially, we have 54 teams and 87 sets of minors, plus whatever comes in between now and this Saturday.

Coachz’s Friends are way out in front in Division 1 Team at +209. Hall of Famer Cher Breunig led the team at +72 with a 696 series. Todd Steckelberg had 701, Dale Chlebowski 677, and Chris Smith 664.

Bowl-A-Vard continues to lead Division 2 at +49. Mike Dailey led the effort at +62 with 593. Don Gmeinder shot 605, Bruce Davis 597, and Paul Fischer 582.

The Scratch team leaders are Forgot Gibby is 50, Jeff Prein (693), Kevin Thompson (717), Chris Gibbons (734), and Tim Morris (682).

In Doubles Division 1, Joe Sirianni and Twoie Gallagher’s +99 still holds the top spot, but their scratch score was surpassed by Gregg Williams and Dwain Holznagel who combined for 1431. Holznagel contributed 762 and Williams 669. New leaders emerged in Division 2 Doubles with the Thorson brothers pairing up to go +152. Roger Thorson shot 685 scratch for 151 of those pins. Should they win by one pin, it will be Al’s pin that did it!

In Singles Division 1, Bob Poole fired a 679 set to take the lead at +121. Dale Chlebowski leads Division 2 at +104 after a 740 series. Jeanne Schrenk shot 620 scratch and is in the top spot of Division 3 at +119. Victor Emanuel is in first by a wide margin in Division 4 after going +108 on his 717 set. And, the ageless Jesse Parizo leads Division 5 and Scratch Singles following a 749 / +92 singles effort.

Bob Poole leads All Events Division 1 by nearly 200 pins, posting a +260 nine game total. Gayle Seltzner commands the top spot in Division 2 at 107. Jeanne Schrenk is +193 in total, and tops Division 3. Roger Thorson is +147 and leads Division 4. Mary Bares is way out in front in Division 5 at +92. The Scratch All Events leader is Eric Pederson at 2074.
