Nominate a Youth Bowler for Star of the Future
Each year the Madison Area USBC awards one female and one male youth bowler the Star of the Future Award. This award recognizes a youth bowler for what they are doing to give back to or otherwise demonstrate a positive influence in their community.
While the Madison Area USBC Lowell Maves and Sandy Stanley Bowler of the Year Awards are based on key athletic bowling achievements, this award considers the character of the youth bowler. Youth bowlers of all ages can be nominated – it does not have to be a high school aged youth bowler. Nominees must have a 2.5 or higher GPA, or equivalent. This award comes with a $1,000.00 SMART scholarship.
A Madison Area USBC Star of the Future recognition is annually awarded to the male and female youth bowler who distinguish themselves through their exemplary character, sportsmanship, and contributions to the sport of bowling. These individuals are often prominent in leadership roles and inspirational to others by their volunteer work, community service, sports and activities participation, and bowling achievements.
