Maly was the Madison Area Youth average leader for all bowlers, with a 222 in the DLYB Majors league.
In High School District 4 competition, he posted an 87.36 fill percentage and had the second highest strike percentage at 61.49.
He made three of five top fives in Badgerland Youth Bowlers Tour events, notching second places at Schwoegler Entertainment Center and Prairie Lanes.
Maly rolled two of the five highest series in the Madison Area Youth Championships, a 704 in the team event, and a 664 in doubles – each was the highest set of the event.
At the Wisconsin State Youth Championships, he placed third in scratch doubles (1,414) with partner Abrahm Fosdick and ninth in scratch All Events (2,065).
