Austin Minor led all Madison Area USBC youth bowlers in average this season, posting a 225 in the Dream Lanes Youth Major league. He had eight series of 700 with a high of 792.
In High School District 4 competition, Minor led the district in strike percentage, over 61%, and was seventh in fill percentage, over 86%.
In BCAW tournaments, he led the U20 Division of the Pepsi USBC Youth Championships regionals, and went on to win the State finals. He also placed in the Storm Scholarship Doubles Tournament.
At the Youth State Tournament, he finished 10th in Singles with a 671 and 7th in All Events with 2,062.
He made the top five in three of five Badgerland Youth Bowlers Tour events, finishing as the runner-up at Village Lanes.
