Chris Smith was elected to the Madison Area USBC Hall of Fame, and will be inducted as its first member.
She was the in the top five as a senior woman bowler in 10 of 13 different tournament events in the Madison Area USBC this year. She was first in Open Championships Doubles, shooting 681 and earning a Division 1 Championship.
She was also first in Senior Open Team, Singles, and All Events. She made the cut at the Queens, posting the top senior woman’s scratch qualifying set.
Her composite average of 208 was high for the association’s senior women, and third highest overall. Her highs were 210 in the Columbia Classic League and the Friday Night Couples league, both at Prairie Lanes.
