Scholarship Information
The Madison Area USBC annually awards five scholarships in the amounts of $1500, $1250, $1000, $750, and $500.
Scholarship winners are chosen by the Madison Area USBC Scholarship Committee. The committee considers applicant’s strengths in areas of academics, extracurricular activities, bowling tenure and tournament participation, and written essay.
All applications must be submitted to the Madison Area USBC office by May 1.
Scholarship money will be deposited directly into the student’s SMART account. SMART funds are paid directly to the secondary educational institution and may be used for tuition and fees, on-campus meal plans, on-campus housing plans, textbooks, required class supplies, and equipment necessary for completion of a course or program.
