2017-18 Adult Youth Entry Form

The Madison Area Adult / Youth tournament is a doubles scholarship competition to qualify for the Wisconsin State Finals.

Each team must be comprised of two players; consisting of one 2017-18 USBC youth member whose birth date must be 8/1/1997 or later and one adult (age 18+ and not bowling in a youth league).

The Wisconsin State Finals Tournament will be held at Lakeshore Lanes in Sheboygan. You may choose a finals squad to bowl – either the weekend of April 14-15 or April 21-22.

There is no family relationship requirement to participate in this event.

Madison Area to award $750.00 in scholarships, based on 50 entries. $3,300.00 in scholarships were awarded at the State Finals last year.

The three Madison Area division winners will receive paid entry to the Wisconsin State Finals Tournament.

Tournament Details

Four squads will be held on the weekend of March 10 and 11. Two squads each day at 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

There will be three divisions in the event:

  1. Adult and U10 Youth (birthday on or after 08/01/07)
  2. Adult and U15 Youth (birthdays 08/01/02 and 07/31/07)
  3. Adult and U20 Youth (birthdays 08/01/97 and 07/31/02)

The entry fee is $30.00. $15.00 to scholarships, $12.00 lineage, $3.00 expenses.

The tournament is handicapped 100% to 220.

All bowlers will use their highest current season average.

Three games of qualifying.

An adult may bowl with more than one youth bowler on a squad, but no more than three youth bowlers. The adult and youth teams must bowl concurrently on the same pair of lanes.

Youth division winners earn trophies.

Scholarships awarded to 1:4 entries, per division.

Division winners earn an invite to the Madison Area Dinner with the Champions.
