The Finance Committee is responsible for developing, reviewing and monitoring the annual budget, and performing the financial matters of the Madison Area USBC Association. This includes but is not limited to providing financial oversight for the association, assisting with the association’s finances and directing the association’s annual financial audit. The Finance Committee is also responsible for presenting the association’s current and annual financial status to the Madison Area USBC Membership at the annual meeting, or to board members who request an update or financial status report. Furthermore, the Finance Committee is responsible for ensuring the association’s finances are accurate and being used in such a way that reflects the goals and purposes of the association.
