Lake City bowling league like many USBC leagues in the country have many family members bowling together. Pictured are two such situations. Both Heath Coenen-son and Tim Coenen-father have bowled in Lake City. Tim bowled for over 15 years before his bowling career ended and Heath has picked up where pop left off. It was great to see Tim back at Bowl-A-Vard last night!

Not Pictured are (Carey Emerson-son and Ron Donstad-dad). There have been many other family members bowling together in Lake City. This has kept bowling moving from generation to generation. All good to see. Thanks for bowling guys!!!
Lake City had three bowlers go way over their averages Wednesday night. Ken Tiedt was +180, Nick Adams was +136 and our esteemed leader Terry Teasdale was +79 pins. Nice rolling fellas!
It was good to see Dave Shaw back bowling with a 12 lb. RotoGrip Uproar. Dave has been out for a few weeks with a bicep injury.
Reminder next week is a theme/fun night. Wear your favorite sports memorabilia shirt to league and we will have a pic taken before league starts. Any Packer, Badger, Nascar, old softball, hockey or team jersey. Please don’t wear your retro bowling shirt as that will be a separate night. Everyone is encouraged to participate.
Also a reminder for all Lake City seniors 50 and over bowlers that Madison Bowling Association has announced the Senior City Championships will be contested at Bowl-A-Vard on two weekends in November Sat. 8th, Sun. 9th, Sat. 15th and Sun. 16th. The Senior Masters will be Sunday Nov. 23rd.
