The 2016-17 MBA Championship Tournament has 64 teams entered so far and is well ahead of the entry pace of the last two years.
Last year was an anomaly since the tournament was held in November/December due to the state tournament. The last January tournament, in 2014-15 at Schwoegler’s, was a recent history record with 109 teams. Prior to the first weekend that season, there were 41 confirmed entries so we are far outpacing that.
There are still openings on nearly every squad, and plenty this weekend if you have a late entry you would like to get in. Squad 8 (January 15, 1:30) is very limited, and Squad 5 (January 14, 11:30) has eight available lanes. All other squads are still in good shape at this time.
