The MBA has an unprecedented two years of association tournaments booked in advance, and tournament sponsors are quickly re-upping their commitment to keeping our championship tournaments top-notch events.
Bowl-A-Vard Lanes signed on again this year, committing $1,000.00 to the City Tournament and Masters, and $300 to the Senior City Tournament and Senior Masters. Bowl-A-Vard, incidentally, will be the host of this year’s City Tournament and Masters. The City Tournament will be held on weekends from January 6, 2013 – January 27, 2013, with two shifts daily. The Masters will be on February 2, 2013.
Rob Bailey’s Pro Shop and Lanes is also renewing their major sponsorship of $800.00 to the City Tournament, and will serve as the official ball supplier for our ball raffle.
Pizza Pit will renew their $500.00 sponsorship, splitting between the City and Senior City Tournaments thanks to Robin Goldberg.
We also have On the Spot Detailing returning as a $300.00 sponsor of the Senior Association Championships, courtesy of owner Tom Schwartz.
The 2012-13 Senior City Tournament will be hosted by Viking Lanes in Stoughton and run the weekends of November 3-4, 2012 and November 10-11, 2012. The Senior Masters will follow up the regular tournament on November 17.
The 2013-14 tournament dates have not been set yet, but expect to follow the traditional dates. The host for the City Tournament and Masters will be Badger Bowl, with the Senior City Tournament and Senior Masters at Schwoegler’s Entertainment Center.
