Badger Bowl Will Host Senior City and Senior Masters
This season, the MBA Senior Championships will be held at Badger Bowl, in Madison.
Tournament sponsors this year include Major Sponsors Capital City Coins & Jewelry and Phoenix Pro Shop. Additional sponsors include Bowl-A-Vard Lanes, and Pizza Pit.
The tournament will run the weekends of October 31 – November 1, and November 7-8. Saturday squads are 12:00 and 3:00 p.m. Sunday squads are 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Last year, 44 teams and 75 minor event entries participated in a tournament that paid out over $5,000.00 in prize money. There will be up to 30 tournament champions and titlists declared, all of whom will also earn championship tournament plaques, challenge coins, and a ticket to the annual Dinner with the Champions.
Senior Masters to be held Sunday, November 15.
The MBA Senior Masters is the top scratch singles tournament exclusively for members of the Madison USBC Bowling Association aged 50 and older. The tournament will be contested on non-house conditions. The champion will win the MBA Senior Masters City Title and earn passes to the annual Hall of Fame and Bowler Recognition Dinner and the annual Dinner with the Champions.
There were 30 entries last year and the two time defending champion is that guy Rick Erce.
