The Annual Membership Meeting, originally scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, had been postponed due to the increased restrictions on gathering size mandated by Dane County. Options exist for potentially holding the meeting in other counties where the Madison Area USBC has jurisdiction and centers (Iowa, Sauk, or Jefferson County). However, the Madison Area USBC feels the call for the public safety based restrictions far outweighs any need to circumvent them for the purposes of an Annual Meeting. You may recall, the USBC canceled their annual convention and meeting due to the pandemic.
Currently, the meeting is postponed until August 18, pending any changes to imposed meeting restrictions.
We are still exploring the potential of a virtual meeting, though this is not allowed under USBC rules. Further updates will be released as needed.
