Bob Frambs

Bob Frambs has made significant contribution to the sport of bowling, our association, and our bowlers through his 30+ years of service as a member of the Madison Bowling Association.

Frambs is primarily regarded for his 21 years as the Dream Lanes Junior Bowling Program Director, serving from 1985 to 2006. In addition to running that program, he conducted numerous youth tournament in-house qualifiers. He served as the Madison Area Junior Bowling Association Audit Director from 1997 to 2007, and on the MAJBA board from 1999 to 2005.

He was an MBA Director from 1997 to 2005, and began work on the Audit Committee in 1998. He concluded his board service as the MBA Vice-President, and remains active as the Audit Committee chairperson.

Frambs has served as a league officer, volunteer at charitable fundraisers, and even still serves as the bowling director and Vice-President of the Wisconsin Senior Games.

While he has been an active bowler and competitor for nearly 50 years in leagues and tournaments, it’s the leadership, mentoring, and volunteerism Bob Frambs has given to bowling that defines his impact.
