Maggie Porter

Maggie Porter demonstrates outstanding leadership and exceptional character through her commitment to developing others. As a leader in youth programs at Lake Ripley Lanes and Prairie Lanes, she focuses on nurturing younger bowlers’ growth. Her 13-year tenure in competitive junior bowling, combined with her 3.7+ GPA, shows her dedication to excellence both on and off the lanes.

Her leadership extends beyond bowling through her school’s Leadership Council, DECA, and other activities. What sets Maggie apart is her champion mindset—she embraces challenges, accepts feedback, and remains coachable while maintaining composure under pressure.

Maggie is the 2024 Wisconsin High School Singles State Champion, US High School National Singles Champion, and 2024 Wisconsin Pepsi State Champion. She helped capture the 2022 Wisconsin High School State Team Championship.

Her competitive record includes being a 2x JBST champion, 2x District 4 champion, and 3x BYBT first-place finisher, with a top average of 216, high game of 299, and high series of 792.

Maggie Porter represents the Madison USBC and the future of bowling with distinction, a positive attitude, and remarkable talent.

Joe Myhre

Joe Myhre displays proven leadership that earns respect from teammates and competitors alike. He commands attention through his accountability, positive attitude, and resilience when facing setbacks. His mentoring of younger players showcases his finest leadership qualities, inspiring confidence through patient guidance.

Joe’s bowling accomplishments reflect consistent high-level performance. With a high series of 744 and high game of 279, he has competed at the highest levels, including multiple state tournament appearances. His competitive record features first place in the 2021-22 Division A Team event at the Wisconsin State Tournament and two additional second-place finishes.

Joe’s community service to bowling is notable. He volunteered at 90% of UW football games concessions, worked fish fries and 50/50 drawings to support bowling programs, and contributed time to youth state championships. His three-year commitment to the Sun Prairie Junior bowling program, combined with his 3.7+ GPA, reflects his well-rounded character and genuine passion for advancing the sport.

Joe represents bowling, the Sun Prairie bowling community, and the Madison Area UBSC with integrity and dedication.
